WHY LOZ ANTONENKO?

In the past, I thought motivation struck like lightning. A bolt from the blue that ignited a fire inside me. But then it burned out and was gone until the next strike. It was impossible to bottle that motivational lightning.

I now know such thinking is complete BS. Because I:

  • Stopped waiting for life to happen to me

  • Stopped trying to catch motivation in a bottle

Instead, I created and maintained motivation by setting meaningful goals. Breaking them down into actionable steps gave me an action plan. Making the steps achievable made the approach sustainable.

It gave me the discipline to overcome motivational barriers. Discipline is the key to sustained motivation.

I know because I’ve lived it. A string of emotional and physical obstacles - the suicide of my first husband, sexual assault, a tumour in my brain, and the discovery of a congenital hole in my heart in my 30s - drained my motivation.

I was alive but not living. Surviving, not thriving. At a genuine crisis point.

Setting meaningful goals, creating actionable steps, and embracing positive thinking changed everything. It helped me find my mojo.
